Hell

So I was on Reddit forum and I am new to the faith and I got the text link to website.

so I’m trying to understand the concept of hell

i read one of the post about it not being eternal in the sense of forever but it’s rather like Prison. Punishment for the wicked, and I’m wondering well let’s say if right now I died, would I go to hell and come back in 1000 years or 120 or however long. When I am reborn do I get a chance to change or do I still end up in hell? When judgment day do the wicked go to hell forever or stay there until there sentence is up?

The post already explains your question in great detail, but it seems you haven’t fully understood it yet. Please read it several more times. Before long, there will also be videos that explains everything step by step, and then you’ll be able to gain a deeper understanding.

<About Hell>

What is clear is that there is no such thing as an eternal hell. It is written that even Satan will be released after a thousand years in the end. It is also written that the rest of the dead who were judged did not live again until the thousand years were finished.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.(Revelation 20 : 1~8)

This means that after a thousand years, they too will be given another chance to live. Another opportunity is given to them. This is why God is love. The reason this loving God created hell is not for the purpose of punishment, but to give them another chance once again.

Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.(Matthew 21 : 31)

This is why it is written that even priests who are more wicked than tax collectors and prostitutes can still enter the kingdom of heaven.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.(Revelation 1 :7)

And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.(Matthew 26 : 62~65)

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.(Mark 14 : 62)

The Lord said that on the day He comes on the clouds of heaven, standing at the right hand of God, even those who slapped Him on the cheek and killed Him will see Him. Right now, those who killed Christ have been born on this earth. What does this mean?

Hell is a place where sins are washed away in order to give human beings many chances. Because people do not confess their sins and receive forgiveness, God uses the physical, compulsory suffering of hell to wash away the sins in their hearts. The “eternal-torment hell” that Christian pastors are teaching today is a lie and is dishonoring God. God created hell for our sake; it is by no means a hell for eternal punishment.

Please read this two or three more times. If you only read it once, you will not be able to understand it fully. So read it a second and third time, and then, through the video lectures, the reasons why hell exists will be clearly explained. They will also talk about the throne of heaven, about the kingdom of heaven, about how the people of heaven live, how this Word of Scripture came down to earth, and all the fundamental reasons why human sorrow, pain, tears, suffering, and mourning must exist. So please look forward to it, read many of the writings already on the site, and continue to ask many questions like this.

About Life with the sorrow, pain, tears, hardship and suffering

I hope you are not asking this because you are thinking of taking your own life. If you are asking with that intention, and if you are reading this with such thoughts, that itself becomes a great sin. Your life and your breath are not yours. Every human soul began from God’s own being. Because our souls were formed from His very substance, even if it is your own life, harming it brings a punishment seventyfold, even seven hundredfold. It becomes a sin greater than any other.

This is because God formed us from His own body, and destroying your own life is the same as destroying a part of God’s own being. So if you have even the slightest thought of that, stop immediately.

And if life is truly unbearable for you, then come to the place where you can carry the cross of God and live in His love—in His comfort, His gratitude, and His joy. But know this: you cannot come to this place unless you are willing to carry the cross.

First, read the writings on this site and read much of the Scripture. In them is the hope of Christ that can save your life. Remember that through this hope of Christ, God can lift you higher than anything this world can offer. Rely on Him.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.(Romans 8 : 18~23)

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.(1 Peter 4 : 1~2)

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:(2 Corinthians 1 : 8~9)

For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth, To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High, To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not. Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.(Lamentation 3 : 33~41)

There are so many people who try to end their own lives simply because things do not go the way they want, the way they think, or the way they desire. But the hardships we face in life are part of God’s will. God allows us to be humbled and subdued by created things. It is written that the One who causes us to yield is the LORD.

The reason is this: only when we surrender and let go of worldly things—only when we die to them—can we live the remainder of our lives according to God’s will. That is why God breaks, destroys, and takes away the things of the world from us, so that our earthly desires may die. This is God’s way.

People have become accustomed only to joy, pleasure, comfort, and convenience. They try to avoid sorrow, pain, tears, hardship, and suffering at all costs.

Yet it is precisely through sorrow, tears, and suffering that we learn God’s beauty—His compassion, His love, His patience, and His temperance.

A faith that turns this into complaint and resentment comes from frustrated desires—because things did not go according to one’s own will, one’s own thoughts, one’s own wishes, or one’s own emotions.

The wounds, pains, and tears that are inevitable in human existence.

Hi . Nice to meet you. We are so glad to receive this kind of questions here. But I strongly recommend you to read the article more than 3 times.

Because.. very few people can fully understand the teacher’s writings after reading them just once. Even the disciples who followed Christ in the past often could not completely grasp His teachings the first time they heard them. Likewise, among the things the teacher explains, there are parts that some people only come to understand after ten years.

Furthermore, because your own subjective thoughts, judgments, and standards are still very strong, if you try to mix them with what you are reading, you will often find yourself unable to understand anything at all. So do not look at these teachings by blending them with your own thoughts. Instead, focus solely on what is written here, and you will find it much easier to understand.

Another reason people fail to understand is simply because these teachings are still unfamiliar. That is why I strongly encourage you to read them more than three times.

As you continue reading, you will begin to perceive and feel the depth more and more. So please read them several times.
